Ring Type Driving Cup

Carlyle Johnson's ring type driving cups are designed to provide an economical means of adapting a clutch or brake to various types of driven or driving members.

These cups permit piloting on the inside or outside diameter, and can adapt to a pulley, fly wheel, sprocket, gear or sheave by means of a cap screw.

Ring type driving cups enclose the multiple discs on a clutch or brake, which helps to prevent dust, dirt and other harmful materials from getting into the mechanism. As well, this type of driving cup creates a neat and compact appearance.

If CJM's standard ring type driving cups do not fit your needs, please contact our experienced engineering department. We can alter our standard parts, or custom design and manufacture a driving cup to your exact needs.
