The Carlyle Johnson Machine Company is dedicated to quality service and support of clutches and brakes. Our staff includes engineers and trained technicians who work to provide the maintenance services that ensure your components are serviced quickly and function properly.
CJM also offers a variety of clutch and brake parts and accessories, which allow customers to service parts in the field, or make their own adjustments.

Visit Our Facility
Our 41,500 sq. ft. building in Bolton, CT houses the production plant, engineering staff and support staff offices, and we are conveniently located approximately halfway between Boston and New York City.
Photography is prohibited on our premises. Recording devices, cameras and other such equipment may only be brought into our facilities with prior written consent.

Part Evaluation & Submission Process
If you have a clutch, brake or power transmission you would like to send in for service, please call our maintenance department.
Please be prepared to provide the following:
- Model
- Serial number
- Service needed
- Urgency of your requirement
We will provide you with:
- An evaluation of fees
- Estimated repair time
- Any other estimated costs that may apply
- Returned Goods Authorization (RMA) for warranty items or a Repair Authorization (RPR) for non-warranty items
When shipping your parts, please note the Reference Number, RMA or RPR on the shipping label.
