Artic Tool & Engineering

In 2009 the Carlyle Johnson Machine Company acquired metal component manufacturer Artic Tool & Engineering Co. (ATEC). Located in Warwick, RI, this facility offers the ability to produce metal forms and parts which are utilized in Carlyle Johnson power transmission products, allowing CJM to operate more efficiently. By reducing our reliance on outside suppliers, Carlyle has been able to maintain fast turnaround times and control costs.

Capabilities

In addition to supplying Carlyle Johnson, Artic Tool & Engineering manufactures components for direct purchase customers. They fulfill small and large orders, with capabilities that include:

CNC Milling & Turning	Stampings
Precision milling & turning of 1/8 - 28" dia. parts	Parts produced on 15-120 ton presses
Component Assembly	Inspection
Installation of PEM inserts & mechanical hardware	Including First Article Reports
